Well its Nov 1st, 2018 and I am here and now.
The year is almost at the end and next week I am off to the annual Australian Distillers Association conference, my third attendance and I am just so proud to be part of the craft spirits Australian industry.
I'm looking forward to catching up with many friends and make new friends. I look back at the last 12 months and honestly, I just go wow at what we have achieved. I have gone from an empty shed to a fully functional Australian craft distillery - perhaps the most inefficient distillery in Australia - but hey, it's mine!
My plan in 2018 was to lay 2,400 litres in casks and I will achieve the target one way or another. I am currently moving into brewing my own wash and scaling up my production for 2019 looking to lay 3,000 litres in 2019.
I am also right of the verge of releasing my first release and its proudly a collaboration effort with a good friend of mine, Rowan Prangley from True North. My launch event is planned for Dec 5th at the Oak Barrel and sold out, so again, honestly, I just go wow!
So, I am here and now , I am pulled in many directions , I have many distractions’ and I need to focus more but I draw inspiration, energy from my followers and have the steady supportive hands of my mentors to guide me on my journey.
My mentors, well that’s another story for another day.
